Directions
Your Project 8 requires water to cool. Please put enough water to cover the fill line on the inside of the chest. It’s located in the middle of the left inside wall of the cooler and extends out of the sidewall. (Approximately 32oz of water is needed)
For optimal cooling, we suggest using cold water and then dropping an ice pack into the chest and letting it sit for 5-10 minutes. This isn’t required but it does help in maintaining the ice. (Leave the icepack in the cooler even when replacing the ice)
Fill the chest with your drinks and ice.
When replacing the ice, please unscrew the drain plug and let the water drain from a level position. This allows the unit to keep the minimum amount of water needed to function.
To operate the fan and charge port press the power button.
Turn the fan control knob clockwise to engage the fan. The speed of the fan increases as you turn the knob.
The voltmeter can be used to charge other electronics. Please note that charging other electronics while using your Project 8 will decrease your amount of running time for cooling.
The unit will discontinue running when the voltage displays a reading of less than 11.5v.
To recharge the internal battery please plug the included battery charger into the DCI port on the top left corner of your Project 8. Your Project 8 will take approximately 3 hours to fully charge.
